Faisalabad Seminar Honors the Martyrdom of Hazrat Ali with a Message of Devotion

Faisalabad, The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Saleem campus of The University of Faisalabad held a seminar titled “The Sacrifice of Hazrat Ali (Karram-Allah-Wajhahu); Lesson in Devotion and Loyalty” on the occasion of 21st Ramadan-ul-Mubarak. The event, aimed at commemorating the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali and exploring the themes of devotion and loyalty exemplified by his life, was attended by faculty members, students, and notable city poetess Prof Dr. Naseem Sehrai as the chief guest.

According to The University of Faisalabad, the seminar began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat-e-Rasool Maqbool (SAW), followed by a performance by Ms. Ayesha Batool, a renowned Naat Khawan, and students who paid homage through Manaqib. Prof Dr. Naseem Sehrai, in her address, reflected on the significance of ‘Jihad’ and the virtuous life of Hazrat Ali, drawing from historical and religious texts. The event concluded with recitations of Drood o Salam and a collective prayer led by Ms. Ayesha Batool.

In recognition of their dedication to organizing Quran Khawani during the month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, students were awarded prizes by Ms. Zahida Maqbool, Registrar of TUF, and Prof Dr. Naseem. The registrar also presented a souvenir to Prof Dr. Naseem Sehrai, honoring her contribution as the chief guest.

The seminar underscored the lasting impact of Hazrat Ali’s sacrifices and his unwavering commitment to the principles of Islam, inspiring attendees to reflect on these lessons of faith and loyalty.
