Duke University to Host Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship on Climate Change in 2025

Durham: In a significant move to engage young faith-inspired leaders in climate action, Duke University, in collaboration with Faith For Our Planet, will host the second annual Youth Interfaith Leaders Fellowship on Climate Change in 2025. This initiative is designed to develop a new generation of leaders who can integrate their faith-based values into effective climate change initiatives.

According to Pak NGOs, the fellowship offers a fully funded, week-long residential program at Duke University. The curriculum, created by experts from Duke’s Divinity School, will include lectures, interactive sessions, and training on ecotheological themes, aimed at equipping participants with skills to lead community-based climate action projects. Fellows will engage in policy dialogues, develop community mobilization strategies, and refine communication skills to effectively influence public discourse and decision-making.

Participants will also join the FFOP Fellowship Alumni Association upon completion, gaining access to further engagement opportunities in regional events and global campaigns. The program seeks to attract young leaders aged 20 to 30, emphasizing diversity and inclusion across different faiths, communities, and cultural backgrounds.
