Chief Minister Punjab Baseball League Inaugurated in Lahore

Lahore, The much-anticipated Chief Minister Punjab Baseball League, organized by the Pakistan Federation Baseball, has officially commenced with a vibrant opening ceremony at the Forman Christian College Baseball Ground. The event signals the start of a series of exciting baseball matches over the course of four days.

According to Pakistan Federation Baseball, the ceremony was graced by the presence of the Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat as the Chief Guest. A former international baseball player for Pakistan, Minister Hayat shared his deep connection with the sport and committed to further its development by promising to establish baseball grounds across every division in Punjab.

Syed Fakhr Ali Shah, Secretary General of the Pakistan Federation Baseball, alongside Executive Director Moazzam Khan Klare, welcomed Minister Hayat and acknowledged his support for baseball and sports development in the region. Shah emphasized the league’s significance in fostering local talent and upholding the values of sportsmanship.

The league’s lineup features competitive teams including Lahore Lions, Multan Mustangs, and Faisalabad Falcons, with both men’s and women’s teams vying for victory. The objective of the league is to highlight the abilities of local players and to provide them with an opportunity to progress to national-level recognition.

The opening ceremony also saw Forman Christian College Rector Dr. Jonathan S. Adelton, Chief Security Officer Lt. Col. (retd) Rana Khaqan, and other dignitaries and sports officials, reflecting the collaborative spirit and effort put into launching the league. The Pakistan Federation Baseball invites sports enthusiasts to join in the excitement and support the flourishing of baseball in Punjab.
