Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the schedule for the upcoming Champions One-Day Cup, slated to feature the country’s top 150 cricketers. The tournament will unfold at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad from September 12 to 29, kicking off with an opening match between the Wolves and the Panthers.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the 50-over tournament will adopt a single-league format, with matches set to start at 3 PM, except for a special morning game on September 16 between the Lions and Panthers, scheduled for 9:30 AM. This adjustment accommodates the live broadcast of the Pakistan women’s versus South Africa women’s T20 International match. The tournament will see three playoff matches spread over four days, culminating in the final on Sunday, September 29.
The detailed event schedule lists match-ups like Wolves versus Panthers on September 12 and continues with a series of competitive fixtures, including Stallions versus Lions and Dolphins versus Panthers. Playoff matches are scheduled for late September, with the Qualifier between the top two teams on September 24, followed by two eliminators to determine the finalists.
