Shaheen Shah Afridi, another notable player, has also rejoined the squad after being released at the end of the first Test.

Additionally, Aamir Jamal, who had been working on his fitness at the National Cricket Academy, has been called back to the squad, though his participation in the upcoming Test is contingent on passing a fitness test.
