Buhsci Seeks Biomedical Engineer to Enhance Medical Equipment Management

Islamabad, Bahria University Health Sciences Institute (Buhsci) is currently looking to hire a Biomedical Engineer to handle the management of medical equipment and devices within both teaching and clinical environments. The role involves overseeing procurement, installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair. Additionally, the engineer will maintain inventory records, provide technical support, develop training programs, ensure regulatory compliance, manage vendor relations, and maintain accurate documentation.

According to Bahria University, the candidate for this position should possess a BE/BS degree in biomedical engineering or a related field from any HEC recognized university and must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council. The position requires a strong understanding of biomedical equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. Applicants should also have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting. Certifications such as Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) or Certified Clinical Engineer (CCE) will be considered an advantage.
