Applications Open for AYF Fellowship in Japan Offering Multicultural Learning Experience

Tokyo, The Awaji Youth Federation (AYF), sponsored by the Pasona Group, is now accepting applications for its 9-month fellowship program on Awaji Island, Japan. This unique live-in program provides a structured environment for international fellows to engage in work and learning, offering a blend of salary and benefits including accommodations and career counseling.

According to Pak NGOs, the AYF Fellowship is designed for individuals aged 24-30 with 2-3 years of experience in fields such as PR and Marketing, Art and Music, Health and Wellness, and Design and Technology. The program emphasizes a “learning by doing” approach and fosters skills crucial for personal and professional development in a global setting. Fellows will receive a monthly salary, with deductions for government taxes, pension, insurance, and Japanese class fees, alongside benefits like paid leave and utility-inclusive housing.

The fellowship aims to integrate global perspectives into the local community, supporting sustainable business solutions while allowing fellows to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and potentially continue their careers in Japan post-fellowship. It offers a unique opportunity for young professionals to test their limits and redefine their career trajectories through real-world applications and regular career development sessions.
