Bahawalpur, September 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):An International seminar titled “Islam and the West” was organized by the Department of Quranic Studies, at Abbasia Campus, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Dr. Zia ur Rehman, Chairman Department of Quranic Studies welcomed and thanked the guests and participants. Seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shafiq ur Rehman, Dean, Faculty of Islamic Learning. Guest Hon’ble speaker Toaha BZ Qureshi Member of order of the British Empire, delivered an exclusive talk. The guests of honor were Prof. Dr. Ishtiaq Ahmad Gondal, Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center, University of Punjab Lahore and Naseer Ahmad Nasir, former president of Press Club Bahawalpur also addressed in the seminar. A large number of teachers and students participated.
