Rawalpindi, February 25, 2023 (PPI-OT):All Pakistan Women University Consortium Conference is coming up with the support of HEC and British Council on March 10, 2023.
Objectives of the Conference:
To highlight significance of women’s leadership role in socio- economic development.
To discuss key challenges and way-forward for women’s role in decision making.
To come up with policy directions and recommendations for policymakers towards promoting women empowerment in Pakistan.
To promote awareness about opportunities for Pakistani emerging women leaders in higher education.
Conference Activities:
The conference will be based on three plenary sessions. Eminent scholars and women leaders will be called to share their views and experiences.
Themes of the Conference:
Following sub-themes are proposed:
Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Policies, Strategies and Mechanisms to promote women leadership in education Mentorship and Coaching: A way forward for capacity development of women for leadership roles.
