Muscat: Defending champions Pakistan are set to compete in the ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup, taking place in Oman from November 5 to 14. Pakistan, the winners of the last edition, will face off against teams in Group A, including Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, and India.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Pakistan claimed victory in the previous Asia Cup by defeating India by 191 runs in the final held in the United Arab Emirates in December 2025. The team has arrived in Oman to acclimatize and prepare for the tournament, following a successful tour of England where they won a one-day series 3-1 but narrowly lost a four-day match.

Farhan Yousaf will captain the squad, bringing experience from his performance in England, where he scored 223 runs, including a century and a half-century. Pakistan's campaign will begin against the UAE on November 6, followed by matches against India and Nepal. Group B consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Malaysia, with semi-finals on November 12 and the final scheduled for November 14.

He emphasized the team's commitment and motivation to retain the title, viewing their defending champion status as a confidence boost.
