Pakistan Achieves Unbeaten Streak with 10 Consecutive Home Series Wins

Lahore: Pakistan continued its remarkable run of success in home bilateral series by securing the ODI tri-series title at a crowded Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday. The victory marks the 10th consecutive home series win for Pakistan, a streak that began in May 2025.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the tri-series featured Pakistan securing two wins each against England and Sri Lanka, out of a total of five matches. This achievement adds to their series of victories, which commenced with a 3-0 whitewash against Bangladesh in Lahore. The series against South Africa saw Pakistan winning the T20I and ODI series, while drawing the Test series in Rawalpindi.

The South Africa tour was notable for its matches at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, which hosted international cricket for the first time in 17 years. Pakistan's winning streak further included a clean sweep against Sri Lanka in an ODI series and the T20I tri-series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

The year 2026 saw Pakistan maintaining its winning momentum by defeating Australia in both T20I and ODI series, followed by the recent victories against Sri Lanka and England in T20I bilateral and ODI tri-series. These accomplishments underscore Pakistan's dominance in home series over the past two years.
