In a meeting following the walk, PU and NCCIA officials agreed to establish a sustained partnership to promote safer cyber environments at the University. Plans include forming a student society dedicated to Safe Cyber Spaces, which will engage students in awareness efforts, responsible digital citizenship, and peer outreach. The collaboration will also feature a series of awareness seminars, interactive sessions, and educational activities across the University.

The initiative signifies a transition from awareness to organized action, highlighting that cyber safety is an essential concern for the University community. With the increasing reliance on digital platforms, addressing harassment, blackmail, impersonation, financial fraud, and digital abuse is critical. Through its partnership with NCCIA, Punjab University reaffirms its commitment to ensuring that its campuses and digital spaces remain safe and welcoming for all students, particularly women.
