Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Honors Armed Forces on Defence Day

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has paid tribute to the martyrs, veterans, and personnel of the armed forces on Defence Day, emphasizing the nation's enduring remembrance of those who sacrificed their lives for the defense and sovereignty of Pakistan.

According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, the chairman noted that Defence Day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for the country. He highlighted the blood of martyrs as integral to Pakistan's existence and paid special homage to their families for their courage and dignity in enduring their loss.

Bhutto Zardari praised the armed forces for their defense efforts against threats, including terrorism, and reiterated the nation's support for them. He emphasized the importance of unity, democracy, constitutional supremacy, and social justice as key elements of national defense.

He recalled the visions of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto for a strong and sovereign Pakistan and lauded their efforts in advancing the nation's nuclear and missile capabilities. Bhutto Zardari reaffirmed the PPP's commitment to a democratic and peaceful Pakistan, stating that building a nation worthy of the martyrs' sacrifices is the best tribute to them.
