Lahore: Pakistan U19 captain Farhan Yousaf has expressed confidence in his team's preparations and their ability to adapt to English conditions, as he spoke in the 90th edition of the PCB Podcast. Yousaf, who successfully led his team to victory in the ACC U19 Asia Cup, elaborated on the team's strategies, the challenges of playing in England, and the importance of fielding and bowling to their plans.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the podcast episode is available for free download and editorial use. During the podcast, Yousaf emphasized the significance of adapting to the cooler English climate after practicing in the warmer conditions of Multan. He noted the importance of adjusting quickly to different weather conditions, a skill he believes is crucial for the team's success in England.

Yousaf expressed strong belief in his squad's potential, pointing out the players' experience in age-group cricket as a key factor in their development and team cohesion. He highlighted the strong bonding and preparedness of the team, asserting his confidence that they will achieve good results on the tour.

The Pakistan U19 team is currently in England, having conducted their first training session at the Arundel Castle Cricket Ground. The 15-member squad, under Yousaf's leadership, will participate in a Youth Test from September 2 to 5 in Arundel, followed by four one-day matches from September 9 to 16 at various locations.

The squad members include Abdul Qadir, Abdul Subhan, Ahmad Hussain, Aliyan Salman, Hamza Zahoor, Hasnain Abbas Dar, Hayam Khan, Jahangir Bilal, Mohammad Sayyam, Mohammad Huzaifa, Niqab Shafiq, Rizwanullah, Umar Zaib, and Usman Khan. The team is supported by a coaching staff comprising Shahid Anwar, Rao Iftikhar Anjum, Zohaib Khan, Humayun Farhat, Ubaid Ullah, Ibrar Ahmed, and Ali Hamza.
