Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member squad for the Pakistan men's U19 cricket team's upcoming tour of England. The tour will commence on September 2 with a Youth Test match at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground, followed by four Youth ODIs against England.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the squad will be led by right-handed batter Farhan Yousaf, who spearheaded Pakistan to victory in the ACC U19 Asia Cup last December. The team comprises a mix of experienced players and newcomers, with key roles filled by a quartet of pacers—Mohammad Sayyam, Abdul Subhan, Rizwanullah, and Umar Zaib—and a spin duo of Mohammad Huzaifa and Niqab Shafiq. All-rounders Aliyan Salman, Ahmad Hussain, Jahangir Bilal, and Hayam Khan are also set to contribute.

The squad is supported by two wicketkeepers, Hamza Zahoor and Abdul Qadir, with Usman Khan and Hasnain Abbas Dar joining Farhan as the main batters. The team has undergone a preparatory training camp at the National Cricket Academy, culminating in a two-day red-ball intra-squad match. The team is scheduled to depart for England from Lahore on August 30.

Among the players, several have prior experience with the Pakistan U19 team, while others are poised to make their debut. The coaching staff is headed by Shahid Anwar, with support from Rao Iftikhar Anjum (fast bowling coach), Zohaib Khan (spin bowling coach), and Humayun Farhat (fielding coach).

The tour's schedule includes a single Youth Test from September 2-5, followed by four Youth ODIs on September 9, 12, 14, and 16 at venues across Arundel, Guildford, and Wormsley.
