Sargodha: The University of Sargodha hosted a Mehfil-e-Milad to honor Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Ashra, focusing on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), particularly those about peace and harmony. The event, organized by the Riaz Shad Co-Curricular Forum, saw participation from notable university figures, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, and various faculty members and students.

According to University of Sargodha, the Mehfil was marked by speeches emphasizing the Prophet's (PBUH) teachings. Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted the Prophet's (PBUH) focus on equality and dignity, urging students to practice respect and cooperation. Renowned scholar Prof. Dr. Feroz-ud-Din Shah discussed the importance of responsible knowledge sharing, noting the risks of misinformation on social media.

The event concluded with the awarding of cash prizes and certificates to winners of naat, qiraat, and speech competitions, as part of the Rahmatul-lil-Alameen Ashra celebrations. Muhammad Zain-ul-Aabdeen, Noor-ul-Ain, and others were recognized for their achievements in these competitions.
