UoS Students Engage in Hanfu Experience in Luoyang

Luoyang: Students from the University of Sargodha (UoS) captivated their Chinese hosts with their participation in Hanfu cultural activities during their visit to the historic city of Luoyang as part of the Pak-China Youth Cultural Experience Summer Camp 2026.

According to University of Sargodha, the students were warmly welcomed by Ms. Wang Chunping, CEO of HeroBoss China-Pakistan Economic and Cultural Center, where they took part in discussions to explore economic, educational, and cultural cooperation between the two nations. The Hanfu experience, where students donned traditional Chinese attire, emerged as a significant highlight, providing them an opportunity to engage deeply with China's cultural traditions.

The delegation visited Luoyang Ancient City, immersing themselves in the city's rich heritage. Wearing Hanfu allowed the students to experience Chinese history as active participants rather than mere observers. Additionally, they engaged in a hands-on dumpling-making activity, gaining insights into Chinese culinary practices.

The students also visited a local school, where they were greeted with a cultural program featuring painting, calligraphy, and musical performances by Chinese schoolchildren. This exchange highlighted the shared values of friendship and learning between the two cultures.

The visit underscored the impact of youth-to-youth cultural exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and strengthening the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and China.
