KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary, Arslan Khalid, has issued a scathing critique of the Gambat Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS) administration and the Sindh government, following a distressing incident involving a pregnant woman.

According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the woman was expelled from the hospital, compelling her to give birth on the street in Khairpur, an event described by Khalid as a "collapse of humanity."

The PTI representative demanded that an attempted murder case be filed against the hospital administration, asserting that the expulsion of a pregnant woman from a state-run facility reflects poorly on the Sindh government. Khalid criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), questioning the value placed on the lives and dignity of the impoverished in Sindh. He claimed that the PPP's health initiatives have been discredited by this incident.

Khalid argued that public hospitals in Sindh have deteriorated into inadequate facilities for the poor. He called for the immediate resignation of the Chief Minister of Sindh and the Provincial Health Minister. Expressing solidarity with the affected family, Khalid condemned the actions of those responsible, stating that the incident has shamed the nation.
