KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Karachi General Secretary Arsalan Khalid has criticized the Sindh government's recent narrative on governance, calling it a mockery of public suffering. According to a statement issued by PTI Media Cell, Khalid highlighted that Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah's constituency, Sehwan, is severely affected by flooding, with boats navigating the streets, while the rulers remain indifferent.

Arsalan Khalid criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership, stating that as the province grapples with floods and mismanagement, CM Murad Ali Shah is in Islamabad for the Kashmir election campaign. Khalid questioned whether the people of Sindh elected Shah to enjoy luxuries during distress. He noted that Bilawal Bhutto speaks about good governance in Azad Kashmir while his province faces devastation. Khalid claimed that the first rain spell has exposed PPP's development claims, accusing them of embezzling billions from the Sindh budget.

Khalid further stated that the entire province, from Karachi to Sehwan, is in ruins, urging the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to address the Sindh government's negligence. He noted that Bilawal Bhutto's directives to the Chief Secretary are attempts to cover their failures and emphasized that the people of Sindh will soon hold the 'Zardari Eleven' accountable for apathy and corruption through their votes.
