SARGODHA: The Governor of Punjab has appointed Prof. Dr. Shamshad Ahmad as the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Sargodha. This decision comes after a thorough selection process where Prof. Dr. Ahmad emerged as the top candidate.

According to University of Sargodha, the appointment was confirmed through a notification issued by the Higher Education Department. Prof. Dr. Ahmad, who specializes in Library and Information Science, was appointed on merit, having secured the highest position among qualified applicants. The Vice Chancellor of UoS, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas, congratulated Prof. Dr. Ahmad on his new role and expressed confidence in his academic and administrative capabilities. Prof. Dr. Abbas also extended his best wishes for a successful tenure, focusing on advancing the faculty's academic mission and contributing to the university's development.
