Lahore: A recent exhibition at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry showcased more than 65 products and prototypes developed by faculty and students from various fields, including engineering, food and pharmaceutical sciences, and biotechnology. The event, aimed at fostering industry-academia collaboration, provided a platform for industry representatives to engage with student innovators on aspects such as market compatibility and commercialization.
According to University of Central Punjab, the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization organized the display with the support of LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol and in collaboration with Convener Umer Saleem. The exhibition attracted notable attendees, including Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat and PHEC Chairman Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, who commended the efforts of university leadership in promoting research and industry linkage.
