According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the institution has been in continuous coordination with the Islamabad Wildlife Management Board (IWMB) since the initial leopard sighting. The university has implemented all recommended safety measures and is actively cooperating with authorities in monitoring the situation. The advisory urges the campus community to restrict outdoor movement, especially during late evening and early morning hours, and to avoid specific areas of the campus.
The university has also emphasized the importance of avoiding the spread of unverified information and reporting any unusual activity to the university offices. Hostel administrations have been tasked with ensuring the timely dissemination and implementation of these instructions.
