Manama: First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari visited the Bahrain National Museum and the Pearl Museum in Manama.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the First Lady was accompanied by H.E. Ms. Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning. They were welcomed by Ms. Farah Mohamed Mattar, Director General of Museums and Culture, and Mr. Hani Ali Behzad, Director of Communications and Partnerships. The tour offered insights into Bahrain's cultural heritage, historical roots, and traditions, including maritime life and pearl diving.
The First Lady appreciated the hospitality and emphasized preserving national heritage as a source of identity and unity. She also discussed the potential for cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain in cultural diplomacy and heritage preservation, highlighting the shared civilizational richness of both countries, such as Pakistan's Indus Valley heritage and Bahrain's Dilmun Civilization.
