Colombo: Fans of cricket can now secure tickets for more fixtures of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 as additional tickets have been made available for purchase. The tournament, set to take place in India and Sri Lanka starting on February 7, offers over two million tickets across eight venues, aiming to accommodate the global fanbase of the sport.
According to International Cricket Council, the decision to release more tickets comes after initial sales went live in December, generating significant interest among fans. The matches will be held in eight cities, including Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Kandy, and Colombo. Ticket prices have been set to ensure accessibility, starting at INR 100 in India and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka.
This edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup marks the tournament’s return to the subcontinent for the first time in a decade, as it last took place in India in 2016. The co-hosts, India and Sri Lanka, will be defending the title on home turf following India’s victory in 2024. The tournament will open with Pakistan facing the Netherlands in Colombo, in addition to matches between West Indies and Bangladesh in Kolkata, and India against the USA in Mumbai.
