Lahore: The second day of the 53rd National Athletics Championship concluded with notable achievements, as athletes from across Pakistan showcased exceptional performances. A total of 18 events were conducted efficiently, highlighting the organizational capabilities of the event’s coordinators.
The Pole Vault event stood out with Mr. Asif from Pakistan Army setting a new national record. He cleared a height of 4.95 meters, a milestone that underscores the advancing standards of athletics in the country.
In the 110 meters hurdles, another national record was established with a hand-timed completion of 13.70 seconds. This achievement added to the growing prestige of the championship.
