LAHORE: The University of Central Punjab’s Faculty of Management Sciences facilitated an industry visit for its BBA and MBA students to Shahkam Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., offering them an opportunity to observe and learn from real-world supply chain and operational processes. The visit aimed to enhance the students’ practical understanding by connecting classroom theories with industry practices.

Students were able to witness firsthand the complexities and logistics involved in supply chain management, giving them a clearer perspective on the challenges they may face in their careers.
By engaging directly with industry operations, students were better prepared for the professional challenges ahead. The experience served to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical application, a crucial step in their educational journey.
The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to equipping its students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the business world. By fostering such interactions, UCP aims to produce graduates who are well-versed in both theoretical and practical aspects of their fields.
