Lahore: The Career Services Office at the University of Central Punjab organized a workshop titled “Building Effective Résumés and Cover Letters” for second-year students from the Faculty of Languages and Literature. The session was led by Ms. Nayab Mehfooz, the Manager and Placement Partner for the faculty.

The workshop aimed to provide students with practical strategies for crafting résumés and cover letters that leave a strong impression on potential employers. It focused on essential components, common formatting mistakes, and ways to tailor applications for specific roles and industries.

Participants engaged in interactive discussions and examined real-time examples. They also received personalized feedback on their drafts, which allowed them to refine their application materials.

A dedicated Q and A segment provided further insights, addressing specific concerns and queries from the attendees. The session was designed to enhance students’ professional readiness as they prepare to enter the competitive job market.
