Gaza: Muntada Aid has intensified its relief operations in Gaza, distributing freshly made bread to 1,500 people and providing clean drinking water to over 4,100 residents daily. The organization is also delivering 500 hot meals each day as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts.
The logistics of procuring food and raw materials for these distributions are challenging and costly. A basic meal in Gaza currently exceeds £4, a stark contrast to the cost of under £0.50 for a nutritious meal for Sudanese refugees in Chad.
Muntada Aid has called for continued donations to support its appeal, highlighting the urgent need in Gaza. Since October 2023, the organization has served over 172,000 people with food, water, and medical aid in the region.
