Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) concluded a ten-day intensive course on Islamic law for legal professionals, culminating in a ceremony at the institution’s Old Campus. IIUI President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmad, the chief guest, emphasized the critical role of lawyers in upholding Islamic legal principles, urging them to integrate these values into both their professional and personal endeavors. He stated that their work must embody the true essence of Shariah.
The Shariah Academy’s Director General welcomed Prof. Dr. Alahmad and expressed appreciation for his attendance. He underscored the academy’s dedication to promoting Islamic legal education through specialized training like the concluded orientation program. The course focused on enhancing the participants’ comprehension of Islamic jurisprudence, especially in family law, inheritance, and associated domains, equipping them to contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s judicial framework.
