Sindh Dominates Naveena Steel Junior Padel Championship with Three Titles

Karachi: The Naveena Steel Junior Padel Championship concluded with impressive performances by young athletes from Sindh, who secured three titles in the tournament’s finals. Held in collaboration with the International Padel Federation, Padel Asia, Sindh Padel, and Maidan Pakistan, the event showcased emerging talent in the sport.

In the U14 category, Sindh 1 Allawala defeated Sindh Shaheen with a 2-0 victory, demonstrating strong coordination. The U16 final saw Sindh 2 NAMX dominate Sindh 6 with a similar 2-0 win. The U18 final, a highly anticipated match, ended with Sindh Team Legends overcoming Sindh TTF in a dramatic final set, after the teams were tied 1-1.

The championship’s results are significant as the national team for the upcoming Junior World Cup in Spain will be chosen from these participants. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where PKR 300,000 in cash prizes, special gifts, and hampers were awarded to outstanding players and officials.

Prominent guests at the closing ceremony included Sheikh Shakeel Ilyas, Ahmed Ali Rajput, Muhammad Mateen, Mudassir Arain, and Rehan Uddin. CEO Mudassir Arain thanked the sponsors and partners for their support and announced plans for more tournaments to encourage young talent in the sport.
