Turbat: The University of Turbat convened its fourth University Quality Circle meeting on July 22, 2025, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hassan, to reinforce its commitment to quality assurance and institutional performance.
The meeting resulted in the review and approval of several crucial quality assurance documents, including the Action Taken Report on Institutional Performance Evaluation (RIPE 2022-23) and the RIPE Review Report 2024-25. This initiative has placed the university in the Higher Education Commission’s esteemed “Blue Category,” highlighting its adherence to high standards.
Vice Chancellor Gul Hassan commended the Quality Enhancement Cell and the RIPE Review Panel for their diligent, evidence-based evaluations. The discussions also focused on the Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) cycle 2024-25, which involves five academic programs.
Action Taken Reports on previous Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and new Implementation Plans received endorsement, while the Postgraduate Program Review documents, including review findings and corrective action plans, were also approved. These developments emphasize the university’s commitment to enhancing academic rigor and file management practices at the postgraduate level.
Furthermore, the Annual Activity Calendar of the Quality Enhancement Cell for 2025-26 received unanimous approval. The meeting instructed department heads to prepare department-level academic calendars to ensure alignment of academic timelines.
Vice Chancellor Gul Hassan reiterated the university’s dedication to continuous quality improvement and stakeholder-driven academic governance, marking a significant step forward in the institution’s academic journey.
