UoT Scholars to Conduct Research at Prestigious Global Institutions

Turbat: Two researchers from the University of Turbat (UoT) have been awarded scholarships under the Higher Education Commission’s International Research Support Initiative Program, enabling them to conduct research at leading foreign universities for six months.

Mr. Wajid Ali, a lecturer in the Department of Natural and Basic Sciences at UoT, has been selected to work under the guidance of Dr. Vincent Noireaux at the University of Minnesota in the United States. His research will also be supervised by Dr. Hanif-ur-Rehman, an associate professor at UoT.

In parallel, Mr. Mir Chakar Rahim, a PhD scholar at the university, will conduct his research at Imperial College London in the United Kingdom. His work will be overseen by Dr. Rodrigo Ledesma-Amaro, along with Dr. Hanif-ur-Rehman serving as his internal supervisor.

The Vice Chancellor of UoT, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, extended his congratulations to the scholars on this accomplishment. He, along with faculty members and administrative staff, expressed their best wishes for the researchers’ success in their academic and research projects.
