See Pakistan World Start-Up Championship: A Hub of Innovation in Faisalabad

Faisalabad: The University of Faisalabad recently served as the host for the Regional Round of the See Pakistan World Start-Up Championship, marking a notable event in the realm of entrepreneurial innovation. Teams from Superior University Lahore and University of Lahore participated as co-hosts, enhancing collaboration between academia and industry.

A total of 95 projects were initially shortlisted for the event. Of these, 63 start-up pitches from regional universities successfully presented their ideas, highlighting the creativity and potential of the young entrepreneurs involved.

The event commenced with an opening address by Prof. Dr. Aman Ullah Malik, Rector of The University of Faisalabad, who urged the participants to focus on international markets through innovative approaches.

Prof. Dr. Majid Hussain, the event’s main organizer, encouraged students to think globally and leverage their ideas for the economic advancement of Pakistan. Dr. Humaira Qudsia, Director of ETTP SUL, praised the well-coordinated efforts of The University of Faisalabad management and expressed optimism about the youth’s role in fostering innovation and progress.

The championship not only highlighted innovative ideas but also strengthened the ties between academic institutions, industry, and emerging entrepreneurs, setting the stage for a more prosperous and inventive future in Pakistan.
