Islamabad: The President of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), H.E. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, made a significant visit to the university’s male hostels, engaging directly with students to evaluate their living conditions and respond to their concerns.
Braving inclement weather, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed toured various hostel facilities, including rooms, kitchens, and common areas. He took the opportunity to interact with students, listening to their issues firsthand. The visit underscored his commitment to student welfare and the importance he places on maintaining a supportive residential environment.
Accompanying the President were key university officials, including the Provost and Director Administration/Works, along with representatives from various departments such as Civil, Electoral, Security, E&M, and Horticulture. Together, they assessed the current state of infrastructure and services available to hostel residents.
The President reaffirmed the university’s commitment to improving hostel facilities and addressing student grievances as a top priority. He instructed relevant departments to cooperate fully and implement immediate measures to improve living conditions within the hostels.
He assured students that their feedback would be considered and addressed, emphasizing the administration’s dedication to fostering a safe, clean, and conducive environment that supports the academic and personal development of all hostel residents.
