IIUI Leadership Reviews Academic Promotion and Selection Process

Islamabad: The Vice President for Administration and Finance at the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Abdul Raheman, alongside Dr. Imran Yousaf, Additional Director of HRM & D, briefed the university’s President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed, on the current status of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and Selection Boards for academic staff.

In their meeting, Dr. Abdul Raheman and Dr. Imran Yousaf detailed the procedures involved in academic promotions and appointments at IIUI. The briefing covered the various stages of the selection process, from advertisement and shortlisting to both internal and external evaluations, all structured to ensure merit and fairness.

The officials underscored IIUI’s adherence to the guidelines set by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. They highlighted the university’s efforts to maintain standards during DPC proceedings and the operations of Selection Boards, emphasizing a commitment to academic integrity.
