Islamabad: Nasir Iqbal and Noor Zaman, both representing Pakistan, have progressed to the final of the CAS Serena Hotels International Squash Championship 2024 following their victories in the semifinals.

According to Pakistan Squash Federation, Nasir Iqbal overcame Egypt’s Ibrahim Elkabbani, the top seed, in a match that lasted 48 minutes. Iqbal secured his place in the final with scores of 11-9, 8-11, 11-4, and 11-4. In an all-Pakistani encounter, Noor Zaman defeated Muhammad Ashab Irfan in 33 minutes with scores of 11-7, 11-9, and 11-9.

The semifinals were attended by Qamar Zaman, Vice President of the Pakistan Squash Federation, who served as the chief guest. The championship final, featuring Iqbal and Zaman, is scheduled for tomorrow.
