Karachi: In a commanding performance, Karachi Gymkhana defeated Khizra Sports by a margin of 292 runs at the Karachi Gymkhana Ground. Key performances included centuries by Umair Shaikh and Sameer Ahmed, propelling their team to a massive total in the one-day event.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the match saw Karachi Gymkhana amass 409 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Umair Shaikh led the scoring with 135 runs, including 16 fours and three sixes, while Sameer Ahmed contributed 126 runs with 15 fours and six sixes. The duo shared a significant 193-run partnership for the second wicket. Azhar Khan also made a valuable half-century. On the bowling front, Mushaf Khan was the standout performer, claiming three wickets for 21 runs.

In response, Khizra Sports was bundled out for 117 runs in just over 26 overs. Hasnain Azhar and Ayan Ahmed were the top scorers for Khizra Sports, but the team struggled against the tight bowling, particularly from Ali Zubari, who also took three wickets for 23 runs. The tournament, which features several clubs across the region, is sponsored by Master Oil Lubricants in collaboration with the Regional Cricket Association Karachi.
