Lahore: Musrat Jamshed Cheema, a senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has raised concerns about the forthcoming electricity bill relief for August and September, challenging the effectiveness of the current federal and Punjab governments’ actions.
According to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Cheema criticized the government’s performance, suggesting that their promises and plans have not extended beyond mere statements. He expressed skepticism regarding the announced relief measures, describing them as superficial attempts to placate the public. Cheema also highlighted that the people will ultimately judge these efforts through their votes.
In his critique, Cheema pointed out that the leadership imposed on the country is now facing the reality of their political stature. He further acknowledged that while the Muslim League (N) has brought Nawaz Sharif into the spotlight, the underlying issues pushing the country into further degradation remain unaddressed. Cheema emphasized the importance of recognizing PTI as a significant political force and advised the ruling party to accept this reality for the betterment of their governance.
