Jamiat Ulema Pakistan President Criticizes Government’s Economic Policies Amid Membership Drive

Hyderabad: In a recent reception hosted by the Jamiat Ulema Pakistan (JUP) in Hyderabad, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of JUP and National Solidarity Council, sharply criticized the current political focus on corruption and economic mismanagement. He voiced strong opposition to the government’s handling of economic policies, particularly highlighting the burdensome electricity bills and inflation rates affecting the citizens.

According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, the event was part of JUP’s continuous membership campaign at Ruklan-ul-Islam Jamia Mujadiya, where Dr. Zubair also discussed the political philosophy of JUP. He emphasized that the party’s politics are deeply rooted in the protection of Maqam Mustafa (peace be upon him) and the practical implementation of Mustafa’s system. Dr. Zubair criticized the government’s insensitivity to the public’s hardships, including severe utility load shedding and high costs during intense heat waves.

The reception brought together prominent leaders and new members, reinforcing JUP’s commitment to becoming a significant political force to address Pakistan’s challenges through Islamic governance and systemic change. Dr. Zubair’s address called on citizens to embrace active political roles, advocating for a return to values he described as foundational to Islamic and national stability.
