Rawalpindi: Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) has opened registrations for its summer semester courses, scheduled from July 15 to August 30, 2024. Interested applicants have until July 8, 2024, to submit their applications, as the university prepares to offer a variety of short courses designed to enhance learning and skill development during the summer break.
According to Fatima Jinnah Women University, The list of courses and all relevant details, including application procedures and fee structures, are available on the university’s website. The process includes submitting an application form—available online—accompanied by the necessary documents to the Admission Office by the stipulated deadline.
The admission process is structured to ensure clarity and fairness. Post the application deadline, FJWU will display a list of eligible candidates on its website on July 9, 2024. Following this, eligible applicants are required to deposit their course fees at the First Women Bank FJWU Branch on July 10 and 11, 2024, and submit a copy of the fee challan to the Admission Office on the same days.
The fee structure is based on contact hours, with FJWU students and alumni charged PKR 100 per contact hour, while non-FJWU attendees will be charged PKR 150 per contact hour. The fees are non-transferable and non-refundable, and once registered, candidates cannot change their selected courses. However, applicants may enroll in multiple courses, provided the schedules do not overlap.
A minimum enrollment of 20 students is required for each course to proceed. The university will notify applicants if any course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment. Additionally, applications for fee refunds—applicable only if the course does not run—will be accepted until July 26, 2024, along with necessary documentation.
