Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that whenever the people suffer due to inflation, unemployment and poverty, they look to the Pakistan People’s Party to get out of those difficulties

Karachi, September 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that whenever the people in the country have to suffer due to inflation, unemployment and poverty, they look to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) to get out of those difficulties.

According to the press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, the PPP Chairman, while addressing the workers and public gathered to welcome him in Sakrand, said that except his party, all the other parties in the country are representatives of elite class, and whenever they come into power, they benefit the rich and their capitalist friends. He said that on the otherhand, whenever PPP gets an opportunity, it benefits the people. “When PPP comes to government, it brings revolutionary programs like Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) for women.”

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that last year due to climate change when record rains occurred in the country, the most affected province was Sindh, adding that after Sindh, Balochistan, then Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab were affected. He said that the performance of all other parties in terms of relief and rehabilitation of rain victims is on one side and PPP’s outstanding performance is on the other side. “I promised the rain victims to build them houses. (Now) such houses have started being built in Sindh. Not only houses are being built, but they are also being given ownership rights to land,” he added. He also reiterated his commitment that similar to Sindh; he wants to give ownership rights to the land of their houses to the rain victims of the other provinces.

Chairman PPP appreciated the people of Shaheed Benazirabad district, saying that they had never disappointed the party leadership. “You (the people of Shaheed Benazirabad) did not disappoint my maternal grandfather, Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, nor did you disappoint my mother, nor did you disappoint my paternal grandfather and my father. I will never disappoint you in the same way,” he vowed.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari announces to regularize the Katchi Abadis across the country, like done in Sindh, if his party wins the next general elections

Karachi, September 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has announced to regularize the Katchi Abadis across the country, like done in Sindh, if his party wins the next general elections and adding that if bureaucracy and judges can get plots, then plots can be given to poor citizens of the country too. He further said that if the direction of the country’s economy is to be corrected, then money has to be put in the pocket of the common person.

According to a press release issued by Media Cell Bilawal House, Chairman PPP, while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Water Filtration Plant in Hussainabad area of Hyderabad, said that the poor citizens and backward classes of the country will have to be given their due rights. “Unless the purchasing power of the people increases, the economy will not benefit,” he contended.

Addressing the dwellers of Katchi Abadis across the country, he said, “This was my maternal grandfather’s promise to public, and my mother’s dream, and I promise you that if I get the chance, I will give land ownership rights to all those living in Katchi Abadis everywhere in the country.”

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that all the provinces were affected by the unusual rains last year, but only in Sindh, the flood victims have been given houses as well as ownership rights of the land. “More than two million families have been benefited under this project, while the ownership rights of the land have been given to the women of the family. We want to take this program to other provinces of the country,” he pointed out.

Chairman PPP said that his party was never afraid of elections. “We have fought elections carrying dead bodies on our shoulders even. (However) if some of our allies are running away from the election, let them run. They are scared, they run away from local elections, they run away from by-elections, and maybe now they are afraid of general elections too,” he added.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he tried his best to convincing the MQM-P that they should contest the local body’s election, and not give their space to the incompetents, but they got scared and retreated. Even they could not save their two towns. He further said that PTI practices politics of division and hatred. “Just as we wiped out PTI from Hyderabad, we will wipe out it from the entire country,” he vowed and added that it is his message to PTI that the Jiyalas are coming. “Jiyalas are ready to contest, will get the security amount confiscated of Imran Khan in the same way as it was done in Hyderabad, Malir and Multan,” he added.

PPP Chairman said that false propaganda and character assassination has been going on against his party and its leadership for three generations, adding that such character assassination was done during the last 15 years because there was a conspiracy to bring Imran Khan to power. “In those days it was said that there is a lot of garbage in Sindh, while the rest of Pakistan is clean,” he recalled.

Addressing the party workers, Chairman PPP said that such false propaganda is being sold in Punjab and Peshawar, we have to respond to such lies. “We have to say that there are still problems in Hyderabad, but if projects like NICVD have been built, they have been built by the PPP government,” adding that if Sharjeel Memon, who was also the provincial minister at that time, suffered a heart attack, he was treated at NICVD Hospital in Hyderabad on his turn, adding that on the other hand, Imran Khan has his own hospital, but he also has back pain, but he will go abroad for treatment.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the MQM, when in power, did not work on its own, and blamed the provincial government. He said that MQM leaders should be asked what they have done for Hyderabad. While giving a historical reference, he pointed out that the water supply scheme was given to Hyderabad city for the first time in 1911, then during the 70s by the government of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and for the third time in 1988 by the government of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. “First my grandfather, then his daughter and my mother and now his grandson is giving the project of clean drinking water to Hyderabad. With this project, clean drinking water will be provided to the people of Hussainabad, Shah Latif Town and Qasimabad Town,” he addded.

Egodage Heroics Power UAE to Asia Qualifier Trophy

Dubai, September 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): avisha Egodage took Thailand’s last three wickets, including that of Natthakan Chantham, to seal a thrilling six-run win the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. Electing to bat first, the UAE could only muster 70 for nine in their 20 overs. Esha Oza could not back up her knock of 85 in the semi-final against Hong Kong, instead being bowled for 2 by Chanida Sutthiruang in the first over. Theertha Satish and Egoadage built a brief partnership of 19 before the latter was trapped in front by Nattaya Boochatham.

Once again, the UAE rebuilt with a 20-run partnership before Chaya Mughal became Onnicha Kamchomphu’s first victim, being caught by Chantham for 9. Kamchomphu would go onto take another two wickets, helping Thailand spark a dramatic collapse that saw the UAE lose seven wickets for 28 runs.

Thailand suffered a blow earlier in the game when their captain Naruemol Chaiwai suffered an injury, which meant she would not come out to bat and that Thailand would effectively have just nine wickets to play with.

Their chase followed a similar pattern to the first innings. After Suwanan Khiaoto and Nannapat Koncharoenkai shared an 18-run opening stand, Indhuja Nandakumar got the ball rolling for the UAE by bowling Khiaoto for 7. Vaishnave Mahesh then drew Koncharoenkai out of her crease before Satish whipped off the bails.

Suraksha Kotte conceded a mere four runs in her four overs, bowling Boochatham for a duck before Rosenan Kanoh was caught and bowled by Oza. This brought Chantham to the crease who, in spite of wickets falling around her, reduced Thailand’s equation to 12 needed off 25 balls.

Enter Kavisha Egodage. The off-spinner had Sornnarin Tippoch caught behind for her first wicket before taking the even bigger scalp of Chantham who had her timber disturbed. Three balls later, number eleven batter Thipatcha Putthawong was also caught behind to spark joyous celebrations from the Chaya Mughal led unit.

Brief Scores:

UAE 70/9 in 20 Overs (Satish 23, Kamchomphu 3-6) beat Thailand 64/10 in 17.5 Overs (Chantham 22, Egodage 3-7) by 6 Runs
