56% of Pakistani’s believe that the IMF aid that has been offered to Pakistan will worsen Pakistan’s economic problems: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan

Islamabad, September 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, more than half (56%) of Pakistani’s believe that the IMF aid that has been offered to Pakistan will worsen Pakistan’s economic problems.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country was asked the following question, “Recently, IMF (International Monetary Fund) offered aid to Pakistan for relief from the economic crisis. Some people believe that accepting this aid will worsen Pakistan’s economic problems, while others believe that will not be the case if aid is accepted.

What do you think?” In response to this question, 56% said that it will worsen Pakistan’s economic problems while 29% responded that it will not worsen Pakistan’s economic problems while 16% said they did not know or did not respond. The number of people who think that it will worsen Pakistan’s economic problems increased with the increase of levels of education. 47% people with no education, 58% of those with secondary education and 76% of those with high levels of education think that Pakistan’s economic problems will worsen with the acceptance of IMFs aid.

NEW YORK, Sept. 19, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Madison Realty Capital, a vertically integrated real estate private equity firm focused on debt and equity investment strategies, today announced that it has provided a $315.6 million loan to Carpenter & Company, Inc. and Woodward Interests, LLC for the completion of the renovation at the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans located at 2 Canal Street in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The 341-key Four Seasons hotel opened in July 2021 and is part of a mixed-use tower that includes 92 residential condominiums on the top floors. Operated by the Four Seasons, the residences have a private entrance from the hotel and offer one- to three-bedroom units and four-bedroom penthouses. To date, the property has sold 50% of the condominiums.

The 33-story hotel and residence offers event space and amenities including two restaurants, a lobby and bar, full-service spa, fitness center, outdoor pool, and private gardens. MNA Makhdoom Syed Mubeen Ahmed met with Worthy Vice Chancellor at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus 

Bahawalpur, September 19, 2022 (PPI-OT):Member of the National Assembly Makhdoom Syed Mubeen Ahmed met with Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus today. On this occasion, the progress of Liaquat Pur campus was reviewed. Liaquat Pur Campus Director Dr. Aurangzeb and Azeem Cheema Advocate were also present in the meeting.

Makhdoom Syed Mubeen Ahmed paid tribute to the Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob for establishing the university campus in Liaquat Pur and said that this campus will open new ways of educational, social and economic development in the area.

The vice chancellor said that the classes will start in the campus in the October and the campus will be inaugurated soon. There has been strong support from all political, social circles and civil society for campuses across the region. Campus Director Aurangzeb said that currently the admission campaign in Liaquat Pur campus is going on and students are applying in 26 disciplines. The renovation of the new building will be completed soon and the campus will be opened for classes.
