4 in 5 people from Karachi are internet users: Gallup and Gilani Pakistan 

Islamabad, September 13, 2022 (PPI-OT):According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, 79% of Karachi’s population uses the internet.

A representative sample of adult men and women from Karachi was asked the following question, “Do you use the internet” In response to this question, 79% said ‘Yes’ while 21% said ‘No.’ 15% more males (82%) use the internet than females (67%). The distribution of internet users across the different age groups reduced with age, such that 90% of those aged 18-23 use the internet, which decreases to 67% amongst people aged 50+. Moreover, the use of internet increased with the increase in education, 63% of the illiterate people said ‘yes’ to being internet users whereas, 95% of the Professionals/Doctors said that they used the internet.
