Karachi: The 12th Annual Neuroscience Conference (12ANC 2026), hosted by Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) in collaboration with various academic and research institutions, concluded successfully on July 29, 2026, achieving its aim of advancing discussions on neuroscience and mental health. The two-day event attracted a diverse group of participants, including leading academics and young researchers, under the theme "Integrative Approaches Towards Neuroscience and Mental Health."
According to Dow University of Health Sciences, the conference featured a comprehensive scientific program with lectures from notable experts such as Prof. Dr. Adeel from Monash University and other distinguished scholars, covering topics from consciousness research to NeuroAI and mental well-being. The event also included parallel sessions on various subjects, including neurological disorders and AI-assisted drug discovery. Young researchers had the opportunity to present their work on pressing issues like autism spectrum disorder and suicidal ideation among medical students.
