TURBAT: Reaffirming its commitment to student welfare, the University of Turbat's Female Students Liaison Office conducted an orientation session on the Higher Education Commission's Anti-Harassment Policy. This initiative, held under the Directorate of Student Affairs, aims to foster a safe academic environment.
According to University of Turbat, Ms. Ruqia Mirwani, Chairperson of the Department of Education and Focal Person of the Female Students Liaison Office, provided a detailed presentation on the policy's framework and its implementation on campus. The session included explanations of harassment definitions, student rights and responsibilities, and the complaint filing process. Female students participated actively, engaging in discussions about the policy's practical application and protections.
Ms. Mirwani highlighted the university's dedication to adhering to HEC guidelines under Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan's leadership. She emphasized that ensuring a secure and respectful educational atmosphere, where students can study with dignity, remains a primary institutional focus.
