UET Lahore VC Leads Consultative Session on Engineering Education Reforms in Sindh

Karachi: Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, spearheaded a consultative session focused on engineering education reforms at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) office in Sindh. Key discussions centered around integrating Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies into the engineering curriculum, promoting research commercialization, and fostering entrepreneurship.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the session also addressed strengthening industry-academia linkages, advancing multidisciplinary education, and driving digital transformation. Vice Chancellors from multiple public and private universities participated, contributing recommendations aimed at modernizing engineering education and boosting universities' roles in research, innovation, and economic development.
