University of Central Punjab Hosts 27th Steering Committee Meeting on Research and Collaboration

Lahore: The University of Central Punjab's 27th Steering Committee Meeting, led by Pro-Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed, emphasized a continued focus on research and collaboration. The meeting brought together notable academics and industry leaders to discuss the progress and future plans of the institution's research initiatives.

According to University of Central Punjab, the meeting was attended by key figures including Dr. Hafiza Rizwan Kausar, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, and representatives from various organizations such as Ferozsons, Fruits of Sustainability, Decathlon, Pikes Soft, Dafi Labs, Riaz & Co., and Rana Rice Mills. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh highlighted the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization's (ORIC) achievements and laid out future initiatives. These initiatives include new research projects, planned collaborations with industry, and capacity-building programs aimed at advancing research, innovation, commercialization, entrepreneurship, and internationalization.

The session also covered research publications, funded projects, patent activities, faculty development programs, industry partnerships, and support for startups, underscoring the university's commitment to fostering an environment of academic and practical excellence.
