LAHORE: Punjab University will commence the second phase of its admissions process today, allowing candidates to apply for seats that remain vacant. According to University of the Punjab, the university has already witnessed a significant increase in admissions, with over 12,766 students enrolled in the first phase alone. This marks a considerable rise from last year's total of 11,112 admissions across both phases.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Ali attributed the surge in enrollment to the confidence students have in the quality of education offered by the university. He emphasized that Punjab University provides education at competitive fees and offers a wide range of scholarships and subsidies to support its students.
