University of Turbat Students Complete Internships in Leading Pakistani Organizations

Turbat: Students from the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Turbat (UoT) have successfully concluded six-week internship programs within several prominent public and private sector organizations throughout Pakistan during the summer vacation of 2026.

According to University of Turbat, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan expressed his gratitude for the support and cooperation offered by participating organizations, which facilitated the provision of meaningful internship opportunities for the university's students. He emphasized the institution's ongoing commitment to bolstering university-industry connections, thereby creating avenues for students to acquire practical experience, develop professional skills, and prepare for future careers.

A certificate distribution ceremony followed the internship program at UoT, during which participating students received recognition for their efforts. During the event, Dr. Ghulam Jan, Head of the Department of Management Sciences, alongside Dr. Mushtaq Muhammad, Head of the Department of Commerce, Dr. Muhammad Yaqoob, Head of the Department of Economics, Mr. Ameer Bux, Lecturer in the Department of Economics, and Ms. Atiya Aslam, the focal person for the internship program, highlighted the significance of internships at prestigious organizations, including the State Bank of Pakistan, Darson Securities Limited, and others. They stressed the importance of practical exposure and the application of academic knowledge in professional settings.

Faculty members also called upon public and private sector organizations across Pakistan to continue providing similar internship opportunities for University of Turbat students in the future.
