Pakistan Men’s Squash Team Wins Silver at 2026 Asian Games

Nagoya: Pakistan's men's squash team secured the silver medal at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026, falling to Malaysia in the final match. The closely contested gold medal match ended with a 2-0 victory for Malaysia.

According to Pakistan Squash Federation, the final held on October 2, 2026, saw Malaysia's Ameeshenraj Chandaran defeat Pakistan's Nasir Iqbal 3-1 in the first match, with scores of 8-11, 11-3, 11-6, and 11-4 over 41 minutes. The second match featured Malaysia's Eain Yow Ng winning against Noor Zaman of Pakistan in a tense 3-2 match, concluding with scores of 11-8, 6-11, 7-11, 11-4, and 11-5 over 53 minutes.

In addition to the silver medal in the men's team event, Pakistan's squash contingent achieved two bronze medals in the men's individual events, marking a successful overall performance at the Asian Games.
